Mahmud is the apparent leader of Mimisbrunn. Shrewd and stern, his personality stands in stark contrast to his more relaxed colleagues. He is always seeking a deal, but is notably friendlier to those who have patronized his shop, even occasionally offering transport to the party, if it's convenient to the caravan's route. Although he is tough on his lazier colleague Neygin, he seems to care about all of those under his purview.

Neygin is Mahmud's right-hand woman. Lazy and spacy, she is nevertheless good-natured at heart, but won't ever miss an opportunity to embarrass Mahmud. Wizened and mysterious, Feryal is Mimisbrunn's resident sage. Her eyes are glazed over, denoting a mystical connection to divine magic. She offers tea at a modest price, but one sip can reveal critical information to customers shrewd enough to think of the right questions to ask. Her powers as an oracle seem to grant Mimisbrunn safe passage through many areas that would be treacherous for others.
