Juan
Hello !!!! I’m Juan. I’m be been a DM for about 4 years. Fun fact I have played with the other DM’s in their games and they have played in one of mine years ago :)
What to expect at my Table
- Role play and Character voices
- Battles and and strategic obstacles
- Big Villians (Love my player counterparts)
- Character customization depending on cool things you dream up as a character/player.
I love having role play moments but I would say as a play style I love 50/50 in terms of funny and camp and serious role play and character development. I tend to do heavy fantasy and normal hero trope adventures
Can’t wait to see where all the campaigns go.
Jonathan
Howdy! I am Jonathan! I’ve been a DnD enthusiast since 2017 and I’ve been a dungeon master for two.
When at my table expect:
- Heavy roleplay
- Various puzzles
- A good fight
I love when players match my energy and allow themselves to embrace their inner actor.
As for rules…
I try my best to follow them, but any rule can be bent if it makes the story more juicy.
Jonathan (Less Gay)
Ayyyyy, I’m Jonathan (Less Gay)! I’ve had a die hard love for dnd for over 10 years but haven’t played as much as I’d like until this year!
What to Expect at my Table!
- Music: music is a big thing for me in setting the tone, if you don’t like it or don’t want to listen, no problem, but I feel it adds to the experience!
- Roleplaying Downtime: interaction between player characters and npcs is some of my favorite moments in dnd. That includes player characters talking to each other too! I like to have a few moments of downtime to settle in and have the characters interact.
- Battles: any good session has to have a good battle and I love battles. Descriptive language is the key to making them fun for everyone and have cool moments for everyone’s characters. Half the fun of playing a fighter is doing cool shit as you kill an enemy!
- Rule of Cool: I like my rules but I also like doing cool shit. If something doesn’t quite align with the rules but is something absolutely rad I will usually handwave to let it happen somehow.
- Serious tone and stakes: I like levity and fun tones but I also like some drama and climactic moments.
Rameen
Hello! I'm Rameen. I've been a DM for over three years.
When at my table, expect:
- Complex NPCs
- Sandbox-style, flexible settings
- Challenging encounters
I'm something of a rules stickler, unless a given rule doesn't make sense within the context of a particular situation, in which case I'll be flexible.
For more specifics, check out my table rules.
Alder
Howdy! Call me Alder. I use he/him and they/them pronouns. I've been running games for... what, four, five years now? I really haven't kept track. I love improvising as much if not more than I love meticulous planning, so my games tend to match the vibe of the table. What should you expect in my games?
- Complicated Social Encounters. I like complex characters and situations. There is never a 'right' answer at my table- I want to see what you come up with.
- Atypical Fantasy. Never expect the standard high fantasy in my games. Sometimes you'll get eldritch horror, sometimes cowboys, sometimes pure chaos.
- Light Combat. At my table, combat is rarely the focus. When it does occur, watch out!
Outside of D&D, I have intense interests in anthropology, ecology, and animal science. All of these interests find their way into my games!
